After a period of social distancing and solitary entertainment for everyone, we are ready to get out and share some music again. We invite you to celebrate our recovering world at one of our many shows from the mountains of Appalachia to the Chesapeake Bay. We just completed our latest recording, Some Place to Fall. It is available on CD and it is now on this web site and will soon be on Spotify, Amazon, and other streaming sites.

Fund Raiser for the JAMS Program
Come down to Good Times for the JAMS Fundraiser beginning at 6:00 PM. Richard Phillips and Friends will kick it off and other bands will follow.

Richard Phillips and Friends (Tommy Clements and Bill Smith) will be playing at the AVibe Festival in downtown Big Stone Gap, Va. Come out for a full day of fun and music. We will be playing at 12:30 but there will be music all day.

Come out and join an open jam at the Appalachia, Virginia Visitor’s Center located in downtown Appalachia across the street from Black Bear Bar B Q. Bring your instruments, your voice, or just come and listen. We’ll all have a good time.
Big Stone Gap Visitor's Center
The Timeless Strings Band will play at the Big Stone Gap Visitor’s Center on Saturday, May 11 from 2 until ? The drawing will be held to determine the winner of Jim’s mandolin. Proceeds of the drawing will go to Mountain Empire Community College’s Mountain Music Program in the name of Chris Rose.
